We earned our breakfast, well lunch really, as this morning’s walk was mammoth at six and a quarter hours. It was hard going, up and down ridges through thick bush on a hot and humid day with the mercury hitting 32 degrees. The idea of walking so long was to get ‘encounters’ but all we managed was a loan buffalo bull, but it did mean that the March ‘trails group’ broke their duck.
Because we were back so late there was no afternoon activity, instead we had a ‘Brutal Bruce” fitness session and then had time out. OP4RU
