This is a great starter course for trails guide. We haven’t actually bumped anything big yet which is a good thing, we’re not quite there yet in terms of our situational awareness. I managed to walk into a nyala in camp when heading out for our afternoon bush walk.

That all comes in the new year when we do out Trails Guide course, the dangerous game at Mashatu in Botswana is so prolific it’s likely we’ll be getting two encounters a day on foot.
