There’s only one side of the table to sit and that is looking out over the river. At breakfast this morning we had a large herd of eles walk by as well as wildebeest, baboons and jackals. It’s far better than any wide screen TV you could imagine.
The practical side of our ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling) started today with instructors Bruce Lawson, Geoff and Sean Patrick (co-author of Game ranger in your backpack).
The focus was on dry drills with dummy rounds to work on our technique and develop muscle memory so that when the proverbial hits the fan everything happens on automatic. This included lots of repetition of the drills as well as doing some blindfolded.
