It’s amazing how the last conversation you have really affects your walk back to the tent.
Tonight it was about the snake outside Cliff and Ben’s tent, most likely a spitting cobra. I walked back with my eyes firmly fixed to the floor rather than scanning the bushes for the leopard that had been through camp a couple of days earlier or the elephant breeding herd that had been reported to be heading our way. You seriously need to multi-task out here.
Today was all about revision, revision and revising whilst watching my boxer shorts on the line to make sure the nyala didn’t chew them. We get all our washing done except our boxers.
An hours more revision now and then up at five for final preparation ahead of the 0800 exam.
