Today was a cold windy day with everyone wrapped up and grumbling. It’s amazing how everything is relative as it was apparently 21 degrees centigrade! Back to thirty plus tomorrow, hopefully.

Highlight of the day other than the 2.5 x big five sighting on the afternoon game drive was the briefing from Sean about our placements from February onwards. It made it very real and also very exciting.

For my preference I’ve opted for bushveld here in SA at a small lodge where I can do a combination of walking and vehicle safaris.

Braai tonight and a few beers, back to late night studying from tomorrow onwards.
