Probably the biggest stress is who you’re going to be tented with and I’m so relieved that Ben and I are sharing.
The tents at Karongwe are big and you can walk around in them, they even have real beds with real duvets but still no door.
The camp itself is really nice with great showers but the river bed for sports isn’t as good as Selati.
There are vervet monkeys knocking about camp and over the last couple of nights they’ve had hyena, hippo and elephant through camp.
The day was really chilled out and we went on a short game drive mainly for the purpose of having a sundowner looking out over the Drakensberg mountains.
