I realised that I haven’t watched any tele since I landed in South Africa on the 31st August other than a rugby match – it’s quite a liberating experience.
It was goodbye to instructor Massi today and welcome back Graham in his place. I still remember vividly the last lecture by Graham on animal behaviour. It went something like this:
“If you do this job for any period of time you will be charged by a lion. It’s not if but when.”
When asked what you do in such a situation: “That’s simply down to trial and error” was the reply so I’m not really any the wiser.
I opted out of the afternoon game drive to concentrate on my bird and frog calls ahead of tomorrow’s test. It’s been an epic week of tests, almost there.
