Today it was time to say goodbye to my first guests, Marian, Sascha and Manfred. It’s been great getting to know them over the last two weeks and and they’ve been an absolute pleasure to have around camp. As they left for the Gate it was back to business as usual with tasks around camp, slashing the long grass being the main one for the day.
That afternoon, JP arrived (our instructor from Selati) to take this weeks bird course as did Andrew who will be acting as lead rifle. We went out in the afternoon to “bird” and I went along as a participant. We walked for part of the activity, doing so with no rifle felt very strange. However, it did give me the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the walk.
